Ecstatic dance in Valencia
Ecstatic dance is free movement to music. There are no steps to learn, no partner to follow and nobody watching how well you dance. You move the way your body wants to, alone in a room full of people doing the same.
A session is built like a wave. It starts slowly, so everyone can arrive and warm up, then the music grows, peaks and gradually comes back down into stillness. That arc is what makes people leave lighter than they came.
Our music is played live by Artemiy Starod, who moves between handpan, drums, flutes, voice and electronic sound with live looping. Because it is live, the music answers the energy of the dancers instead of following a fixed playlist.
We hold ecstatic dance at Handpan Studio Valencia and bring it to retreats, festivals, studios and private groups. It also works well at the end of a day of practice, as a release after sitting still. The price depends on the place and the group, write us in Telegram.
